I used HPI Check to do a check of a car I am looking at which showed me the vehicle economy of the car. This is different from what is stated on Autotrader website.

Which would be more accurate and where would I get true information from ? I.e spec’d MPG (I know different from real life MPG)

Yeah, I would go by that. It tends to be a bit on the pessimistic side, but I guess those inputting have a heavy right foot.

Yeah i find it gives a good 'bare minimum' result so you know the worst it will be. Parkers also has user submitted reviews which often feature MPG figures.
