Where does one find swaps?

I read about it over and over - but how do you find swap deals?

I've got a nice little Italian hatchback with a years ticket I want to try and swap for a big old automatic barge but haven't the foggiest where I would go. I don't want to part ex with some dealer - but find someone who is looking for a nice little runabout in exchange for their old wafter.

Any ideas?
