Hi all

I am looking to trade in my 2018 MK7.5 Golf GTD estate for something petrol-y

I have have a Mk7 Golf R already which was on lease and I loved it but I don't want a 3rd mk7 Golf so I'm looking for other options

I don't want anything too bad on fuel as I do the occasional long distance trip and want to get a good return on the MPG there but also retain some good fuel economy. I'd like a 340i but I think they are too fuel heavy perhaps... I mostly do short journeys thus wanting to get away from a Diesel

What else is out there? Things I'd like to get:
Pano roof
Boot big enough for 2 medium-large dogs (20KG dogs)
Auto
Android Auto

I found my 340i to give similar mpg to the mk7 R
