New fun car for 6 mile commute - £10k

Hi guys,

I currently have a 10 year old Skoda Octavia - it's getting a bit long in the tooth now and I want something a bit more modern and a bit more exciting!

I've got a 6 mile round trip commute and at the weekends I pickup/dropoff my son which is a 60-80mile roundtrip (depending on where I pick him up from)

I quite fancy a coupé and without my son to worry about would almost definitely be getting an MX-5.

So, I'm looking at stuff like a TTS, Fiesta ST, S3/S5, 320i's

Any other suggestions would be great!
