Although we are still in the depths of winter I'm starting to think about a new weekend car for the spring, currently I have a C250 Coupe with a 1.8 turbo engine it's a nice car with a good turn of speed but I fancy something a bit sportier, however I have a few restrictions the new car can't be any bigger than the C Class as my access to the garage is quite tight and the garage itself is only just big enough, with it not being my daily driver I don't want it stood outside. I would prefer another coupe and I'm thinking of a BMW M235 or 240, looking at spending 20-25k has anyone any suggestions what else I should be considering? Thanks

Hey Bonzo,

Not sure if you've test driven anything as of yet, but maybe have a look at the following and see what you think;

Audi S5 Coupe - Probably get a 2015/16 model at that price range, seems to have similar dimensions to the C250 and will come with a bit more poke

TVR Cerbera - Slightly left field, just saw an interesting example of the 4.5 V8 on autotrader within budget, dimensions wise I think it's just a touch shorter than the C250 so should fit in the garage nicely

Maserati Granturismo - Again another unusual choice, might just be a bit too long for you (from checking it looks like an extra 100mm or so)

BMW M3 - Might be worth trying as an alternative to the M235/240, see which you prefer

Porsche 911/997 or 996 - Plenty of examples within your price range

Aston Martin DB9 - 5.9L V12

Jaguar XKR - 5.0L V8 Supercharged

Just some things to consider, best of luck with your search - I'm sure ZX will be along shortly with some great recommendations
