Wanted - Big, Fast, Petrol... help please

In need of a big family car, that is fast and rewarding enough when im on my own but comfortable loaded up for a family day out.
Immediate thoughts are as follows, which would be more ruinous at sub £30k, more like £20-25K
1. RS6 Avant
2. S6 Avant
2. E63 or CLS 63 estate 2013 etc.
3. E43 estate 2017
3. X5 M V8 twin turbo
4. X5 5litre V8
6. 535i or 550i f10 model
Should there be any i shouldnt look at from the above and equally is there any that i should include?
NO DIESEL.

What about a B8 RS4? I'd avoid the older RS6s at that money, but the newer ones are mid-£40ks upwards. I have a B8 and it's wonder, and bonkers fast for a big estate.
These are a fantastic option, and i did look at them but we already have a skoda VRS estate (similar size) and i want to get something a bit bigger.SBN said:

Yes, i think i looked and the combined was sub 20mpg on these.I dont care too much about MPG but i do care about visiting the fuel pump twice a week for my normal 300miles a week

I drove a friends one for a few days and it really surprised me (I had an E39 M5 at the time).I planted the throttle from a dead stop entering a roundabout and I swear it feels like the front wheels are going to lift, the steering wheel went light as it ploughed straight on as the front wheels have no grip due to the weight transfer.
It's amazing that some so big can shift like that.

You may be thinking of the E60 with its SMG. The DCT in the F10 is very usable and seems to be reliable. A lot of car now for £20-25k. I’ve done 135k in mine from new and think it’s been a fantastic daily drive and family car.Edited by theboss on Monday 10th February 12:10

Understood. There will always be an element of risk with running any high performance car later in its life outside of warranty so barring buying something nearly new it’s something the OP will have to consider. I don’t think the F10 is a particularly unreliable car in its class, though granted my own experience is only anecdotal - failures do and will occur.I bottled one. E500 for me.

I have an E63 5.5TT estate as per the 3rd entry on your list. If you want fast, its definitely one for the list - I would say that an RS6 would be on par, but the others would not. Is it involving or rewarding as a proper sports car such as a 911, no, but I can carry the family and whole lot of kit which the Porsche cannot. The question is then around whether you want a lean towards the involvement of an M5, or the slightly softer attitude of the AMG IMO

I’d be much happier taking on a F10 M5 with 2 reservations;
1) they didn’t make an estate
2) I can’t afford one.
