I have found myself without a car and I need one ASAP but I’m completely stumped at what to get.

My requirements are:
Budget- £18k- £20k
Under seven seconds to 60
Practical as I have two young kids, so need something bigger than a hot hatch.
Petrol, really don’t want a diesel but may have to bite the bullet.
Under 3 years old
Apple car play

I know these threads can be annoying but I really need some help!

Over to you guys.

Would a Mini Clubman Cooper S/JCW be big enough?

Otherwise a 3.0 BMW of some description or a Skoda Octavia VRS 245.

Leon Cupra Estate?

Although I complained a bit about it when I had one (hatch version), in hindsight it's probably one of the best all-round cars I've had. Best fuel economy I've ever had out of a "hot hatch", most power, most traction/usability and excellent trim level (including Apple/Android as required).

You're bang in the zone for budget too on a 2017 model I reckon.

Jaguar XE (240bhp trim) is right on the money for your consideration.
So too is a 320i-330i and probably a few 340i's as noted by others. Possibly even a 430i gran coupe.
Skoda Superb as well.

I was recently on the hunt for something and all the above came up in similar criteria (I added a low mileage limit too), so I think you're in a good bracket for buying.
