Small Cheap Van / Bus

as some of you will have read, I was looking for a bit of a do it all car, however i've got too long left on the company car lease so it's looking likely i'll be keeping it for the next 18 months / 2 years.

I'd rather not wait to gain the practicality I want so thinking of a sub £5k little van.

Potentially something like a tourneo connect or something like that.

What I'd like is:
ability to seat a minimum of 3 adults without a struggle.
Space to fit a large dog cage behind the rear seats - I have a labrador and want to keep him safe on travels.
seats not in use to fold flat giving room for 1-2 bikes to be stored without needing to remove wheels.

So, fully packed, the van would likely have:
Me, the wife, the dog, kiddie & kiddie stuff
or
Me, mate, 2 bikes, dog cage (don't want to remove it or need to remove it) Bike stuff (which would sit on rear seat(s) in bags)

so if we're away as a family, the bike will stay home giving room for bags etc, but when i'm off biking I can load it up slightly differently.

I'm hoping to avoid needing a full transit or transporter as i don't want something that bike. So a high roof tourneo connect seems ideal.
