Suggest a car for a 21 year old - First car

Up until now our kids first car has been from the 107/C1/Aygo range. Cheap to insure, well cheapish, cheap to repair, no frills, cheap to run. Got when they were 18.

This one is slightly different as they've been to Uni, so whilst it will be a first car, they're 21 so slightly better on the insurance front. £2K is the budget.

So shall we stick with the C1/107/Aygo? If not what are other suggestions?
