EBay it or WBAC sub £1k car
Discussion
I have never sold a car before or anything on ebay either. I need to get of rid of an A3 1.8t 2002 76.5k miles fresh 12 mth Mot, few minor issues (window reg gone) nothing mechnically wrong I've had it 15 yrs. WBAC online offered me £490 so say £350 when I get there, I recon I could get £700-£1k on ebay based on sold cars. Having never sold a car or sold anything on ebay I'm I opening myself up to a world of hassle ?
I was surprised how much I got on an ebay auction for an old Volvo V70 which was uneconomical to repair. I was 100% honest about the issues with the car so had no issues with the trader who bought it from me.
Expect a lot of direct messages from lowball chancers in the first 24 hours who need to collect the car today etc..

Where abouts are you based?Stick it on a local Facebook car selling group. I had an MOT failed Saab estate that i wanted shot of and got loads of replies wanting it. A guy offered me £200 for it and turned up that night with the cash and off it went. Absolutely no hassle (not even many of the "I'll give you £20 and an old Xbox" kind of messages)
