18 years old, wanting a fast ish car within my insurance range. Currently looking at a Volvo c30 D5, is this fast once mapped?
Got about 2300 to spend on the car

Will have around 260hp and loads of Torque will sound nice too but not sure how much fun it will be, have you looked at the likes of Renaultsport Clio 197 or EP3? better chassis, more fun and the NA engines love abuse.

Insurance is a bomb on cars like that due to my age unfortunately.
How do you feel about an a3 2.0tdi 170 or a 2.0tfsi mk jetta?

Best advice? (You probably won't take it!). Do a couple of track days. You can drive as fast as you like, kick the st out of any car, and test your skills. Then buy a car fit for you and the road, and get piss cheap insurance.

I know you won't listen... but really, you should.

No, really, you should.

Really.
