Not looked in a while but what’s happening to classic car values

Eg Cosworth’s, testarossas, 599s, gallardos etc

Are they tanking?

The best cars always sell at the best prices.

In tough times you will always get good money for a good car but not necessarily bad money for a bad car.

Selling and being reduced

I wouldn’t mind a Ferrari if I can get at a good price eg a 599 etc

There’s quite a few 599s in the 80s

What are they actually selling for or is it too early to say with the recent stock market falls

Will they come into mid 60s do you think

I went to the Historics auction at Ascot on Saturday, and prices do seem to have tanked.

None of my mate's 3 lots sold either!

£63k plus £3780 commission on top, 27k miles, retrofitted HGTE. It is LHD though.


Generally the 'sold' section on CollectingCars is handy as they list what things actually sold for, just don't forget their 6% on top.

The youtuber-who-shall-not-be-named did an informative piece on the 599 very recently too.
