About a fortnight after I sell it again! Doesn't seem to matter how long I've had them, I still hear odd new noises/feel a new vibration/notice a different way the engine is performing...or the gearbox.

Paranoid? Me?

I'll go with it, having just bought another car privately.

I usually go with a couple of weeks, or after the first couple of decent washes. Sadly in this instance i started to polish off some overspray (This very quickly became thinners) from a 'smart repair' which whilst I saw on the initial purchase (dusk and damp) I didn't realise the extent of the shoddy repair. Still, least I know more about it now and it's booked into the paint shop to be done properly.
