If Detomaso Pantera prices fall anywhere near what they were circa 2005 i’m certainly going to treat myself.

Once normality or a semblance of it returns I shall be keeping an eye out for a L322 Range Rover TDV8.

I want to try a caterham. I know in theory they are “cheap” as they hardly depreciate. They are expensive to buy though and you don’t get much for your money!

Been eyeing up a Street Triple 765RS if prices fall enough... Possibly a Fiesta ST-2 too.

I upgraded my "treat" car in December to a BMW Z4M Coupe, and haven't put 1,000 miles on it yet!

When "it's all over" I'll be putting that right. laugh

I'm currently doing some man maths on whether I need a manual 981 Boxster GTS in my garage for a bit of a treat. I don't have a garage so I'd need to have one added to the house, but it'd be a great excuse for a build thread.

I already have two new cars on order (X3 and Mini JCW), and I need to get rid of the 991.

Planning on buying something a bit special next year anyway for my 40th but I may bring that forward depending on how prices move. I was pretty much set on a CaymanS 987.2 but with the way things are going I have notice Aston Martin Vantage V8's are dropping temptingly into range too.

Just looking forward to taking delivery of my Leon Cupra 290, that i should have been getting this week or next. Obviously, everything that's going on has put it on hold.

In a way, I'm glad kinda i didn't get it yet, as it wouldn't be great just having it sat there most of the time, other than going to work and nipping out to do the shopping.

Where are you watching them fall, out of curiosity?

Get an ex race car. https://www.cgrc.uk/forsale.asp

They are great, but personally they are more race/track car than road car. I've had several and the few times i've tried them on the road i've felt less safe than on a motorbike.

Good itch to scratch though. Not much else comes close to them in terms of feedback. And they cost buttons to run because they're so light on brakes/tyres.
