Did they transfer a deposit?
He has offered 10% on the Exige by bank transfer but in my head I'm unsure if he can transfer in pounds or euros?
Thanks.
Probably be hard to persuade him due to the risks his end... Get him to do it on PayPal using the friends and family method. He’ll be able to send you precisely what’s needed in GBP, he’ll be charged accordingly in Euros and as it’s friends and family he can’t then try and charge it back/submit a case at a later date once he has the car in his possession. He has offered 10% on the Exige by bank transfer but in my head I'm unsure if he can transfer in pounds or euros?

EDIT - Maybe just tell him to do £250 rather than 10% on PayPal?
Sold a car 2 years ago to Italy. From what I can remember -
Bank transfer took a few days. I personally moved the money to a different account as soon as it arrived. Bank was happy enough that it could not be recalled by the buyer. The sum was just shy of 20K.
DVLA said to send the V5 off with the car, as the Italians would require this paperwork to register the car.
Follow up to the DVLA with a letter stating your address, Reg/Chassis number and that you have exported the vehicle and are no longer the registered keeper. Took 2 weeks for my confirmation that I was no longer the owner to come through.
Can’t think of anything else, nothing out of the ordinary. Worth a call to the DVLA though as this may have all changed.
Might be easier on the mind for you if it’s the buyer themselves that are coming to collect. Mine got loaded into the back of a Romanian Arctic Lorry via wooden planks
