I have considered both. I’d probably be more swayed to the golf as I’ve just come from a st. I don’t mind pushing a bit more than 6k if need be too.

Other consideration is a 330i, Octovia vrs or a 330d but put off by the chain issues and wanted to stay away from diesel if possible



Did consider Impreza but don’t want to be too loud.

Focus RS MK2? Pretty sure these have bottomed out depreciation wise where the golf has a long way to drop still.
