My step daughter is about to turn 18 and is looking to buy her first car and i was wondering if anyone had any feedback re these type of deals?

Premis seems to be £x amount over 3 yrs flat, whereas is she bought her own car and insured it, id assume the insurance would decrease over those years.

No experience of them, so thought id take some advice.

I'm probably taking rubbish, but I seem to remember when a mate had one of these deals (we are talking 15 - 20 years ago) he wasn't able to build no claims. As I said it was some time ago and I may be remembering it wrong, but something worth checking.

As it's a set period I imagine it stays flat across the term? Could be a good way for a new driver to get motoring?
