C6 A6 3.0 FTSI v E91 330i

Hi,
I am in the market for a dog carrier and have narrowed it down to a C6 A6 TFSI avant or a E91 330i touring.

The avant is auto but the E91 is a manual, N52.

Has anyone experience of either?

Looking for something nippy, I know the A6 can be remapped to 350-380 without too much hassle but will it feel like a boat?

E91 is a bit older, but NA manual 6 pots are a thing of the past - might be last chance to get into a decent looking one at a reasonable price?

Any thoughts?

I had a 2007 A6 Avant for a while, great size and a comfy cruiser. It was only a 2.0 TFSI and 6 speed manual, so even mapped, it lacked torque and any decent grunt. They are massive and very boat like. It also drunk oil (they all do with that engine) and well it was just very boring.
I cant comment on the BMW as haven't owned one, personally I'm going for a JDM Subaru Legacy / Outback next.

I run a 2006 330i SE Auto.

Tuning options would be very limited being an NA engine, so you probably have to run with as is.

I love ours. Had it since jan and only really had typical wear and tear issues - drivers door didnt lock on the remote (£28 part on ebay, an hour to fit), wipers didnt work on intermittent (£30 part on ebay 2 hours to fit wiper motor). Discs and pads also just because of vibration through the discs.

I bought mine very cheap so didnt mind spending a bit on it.

Car hasnt had any issues since.

Very happy with it and as you say, N/A engines are a dying breed.
