This seems a bit cheap to me -

This is a common scam on eBay atm.
You can see it on caravans and motorhomes as well. Send an enquiry and you'll get some sort of auto response saying the eBay messaging system is out of order and asking you to communicate independently of eBay via a separate email address.
Then you will no doubt be fed some weird story and scammed out of cash somehow.
eBay are hopeless at putting a stop to this. I alerted them to one such fraud and it took them over a week to remove the listing and only after contacting them directly. One of their staff even hung up on me - despite no bolshiness on my part.

Yes; eBay is failing big time on that. I sees scams constantly and gave up reporting them.You can see it on caravans and motorhomes as well. Free UK delivery at no charge - can you imagine any dealer willing to deliver to the North of Scotland or NI for free?
No finance and no part ex - what dealer would turn down commission and another transaction to make more money
And finally - no telephone number - we all know dealers hate emails, and I don't know of any dealer in my time on the planet that doesn't work from a phone!

The really obvious ones have the email contact details in one of the pictures, oh and a price that's about a fifth of what it should be!
I'd not buy a car from a dealer through eBay although I'd use it as a means to find out who's about in the specialist or classic market and as another way of gauging current prices.
I'd consider it for buying an old classic resto or a track project, where you are kinda pre-empting that it's f
ked anyway and you get to speak with the seller.
