Approximate cost of interior re-trim?
Discussion
My wife is looking to change her car for a low miles, two year old specimen.
She keeps her cars for ages so has very specific purchasing specifications. Her current car has been with her for over 8 years.
She can tick most of the boxes, but the constant deal breaker is the colour of the interior trim - everything seem to be mostly gloomy don't show the dirt, cheap lease friendly, coal-hole black. Most especially you Mercedes!
Can anyone tell me what the approximate cost of getting a full leather interior re-trim could be please? Seats, door cards, etc.
She quite fancies a BMW X1 to give you an idea of the vehicle size she's after.
Thanks.

You could say, ask a dealer to find cars that have a specific interior trim colour, or use the search function on autotrader with the silly name manufacturers give their interiors. For the X1 for example, search "Oyster". Probably a lot cheaper than ripping the interior out of a modern car. Here!
Are these guys any good?

I've heard of them and like the look of what I see but I've not had the need to use them.
How does this work with seat airbags?
The other way is a full OEM interior from eBay, taken from a breaker.

Why doesnt she buy or even lease a new car then? That way she gets what she wants without the faff and expense of getting an old car retrimmed. She keeps her cars for ages so has very specific purchasing specifications. Her current car has been with her for over 8 years.

We've been doing that for months. Total number of actual cars found = 0Gassing Station | Car Buying | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
