Car buying during Coronavirus...

So went to the Jag and BMW showrooms. It's crap.
Half of the cars weren't out on the forecourt so they did not have a clue about stock, you have to pre-book for viewings, BMW basically said they won't let me test drive until later in the process as it's such an operation now to sanitise car i.e. unless you're really really serious about buying (I am, but not sure if I want the X5 or F-Pace).
No cars or even boots open to look inside the cars or storage, everything is locked.
All the fun of buying a new car has gone
