11k budget 330d??
Discussion
Hi guys, bit of help needed please. My budget is 11k, I almost have my heart set on a LCI 330d convertible with the right spec (wide nav, red seats). I am still open to suggestions, so far I have also been looking at e350cdi coupe and convertible however the facelift just looks so much better so the pre facelift is putting me off a little. I have also been looking at a5 cab and a5 coupe 3.0tdi coming from an a5 2.0tdi.
My criteria is 11k budget, something fast (I would remap the 330d to 300bhp) whilst also being somewhat decent on fuel and somewhat luxury (nice seats, display, toys etc) am I being too unrealistic? Its the first time I will be spending this sort of money on a car so I want it to be right. Currently the 330d cars on auto trader are not to my taste in terms of spec and the one I do quite like has 4 owners in 44k miles so is putting me off.
Cheers guys any suggestions appreciated!

44k on an 11k car is a very good number especially aligned with spec you want.
The E Class Coupe is a good pick I really like my E500 I like the pre facelift look more as for me the facelift has to many holes in the front of the car.

As an aside take the chrome off the front grille then spray it gloss black put the chrome back on & they look much better

There are a mixture of pictures there, the dealer pictures, the pictures when they got it home and then i assume the current pictures with it on a private plate.
Its a 9 year old BMW convertible, so the number of owners wouldn't be an issue, no doubt its just a summer car. Last V5 was issued July 2019.
Last MOT shows tyres worn on outside edge, this is typical BMW. Be warned it has the 19's, tyres if runflats are stupidly expensive and the wheels break and its not uncommon to find a couple that have had 2 or 3 welding repairs. A new wheel from BMW is £600. Saying that the AMG wheels on the E Class can crack too.
The Convertible can suffer from scuttle shake and the roof is heavy and quite complex, the engine is nice though. Make sure it has a full history, it will be based on age rather than mileage, servicing is 2 years or 20k and goes oil plus cabin, then oil, air, cabin and fuel.
For me it would have to be the E Class, both of the ones above look good, I prefer the grey one because of the red interior but the white one is a very good spec.
