Do I upgrade or downgrade from A3 8V S line cabrio

I currently have a 2015 Audi A3 8v S line cabrio which may be gone within the next week and I can't decide whether to spend another few grand and get an 8v S3 or golf R or put some money back in the bank during these difficult times and buy a 2007 8p S3 for £6k or maybe a face lifted 2 litre petrol Volvo C30 for £4k. Any advice on any of the cars would be appreciated or any recommendation on alternatives. I'll be doing hardly any miles from the end of this year so a petrol would be best.
