Ok I need a new car - but am devoid of ideas as to what is genuinely fun within the following criteria - any good recommendations????

1) Budget - £15k
2) 4 seats
3) Mid 20s MPG at least
4) Max road tax £350
5) Plenty of grin factor below 60 mph.
6) Reliable and comfortable enough to be a daily
7) Anything but FWD.
8) Nothing with a really long wheelbase

Any suggestions??

There's a really nice looking white Volvo V60 T6 AWD for sale for £15k at the moment that i keep eyeing up.

It's the same base car that Polestar used, but without the rock hard suspension (which i've heard is borderline too firm" or upgraded brakes. If you want a really comfy long haul family car with enough poke to see off most chavs then i'd suggest looking at something like that, thrown on a remap and you'd comfortably be looking at 360bhp. It probably wont have as much body control as its German counterparts, but then if you wanted one of those then you'd know about it.

I can recommend this. My old Subaru. Cracking machine in everyway. This one has the 320R Subaru approved upgrade. Only stumbling block is the road tax. £555. Small price to pay for the grin factor.
