£50k ish fast coupe
Discussion
I started a thread on the C63s AMG specifically but I'm wondering what else I should be considering.
I'll be changing from my 435i and have set myself a budget of £50k, could go over but don't particularly want to.
I've always had BMW but quite fancy a change as nothing since the 4 series has appealed. Whilst the M4 was an obvious choice I do wonder whether I'd regret not getting much more car than I have now and with the new model on its way it'll shortly be "the old M4".
Looked into older stuff i.e. V8V/R8 but I'm trying to be a bit sensible as it'll be driven most days and I could end up putting 20k a year on it.
Need to have a decent sized boot that could fit golf clubs in at the very least, must be relatively reliable and less than say 4 years old.
Any ideas appreciated!

Been looking at these myself as BMW are offering PCP's at 2.9% APR makes it a decent deal.

Now that’s a quality first post. NA V8 which sounds great. Genuine supercar looks. You’ll be swimming against the tide not buying one of the usual suspects. On the basis that you simply don’t see them on the road, they’re damn cool. Manufacturer known for bulletproof reliability. Manufacturer known for stellar customer service.
I think the boot is so crap the golf clubs might not fit, but that’s what the back “seats” are for.
S500 AMG Line Premium Coupe you should be able to extend the Manufacturers Warranty by going for a 500 that 4.7TT is a proper engine in it's own right & a map will see you into 63 territory power wise & these will have sensible maintenance numbers.

I know it's not a traditional in the sense of a coupe but a Panamera Turbo S is a bit of a special car imo:

LC500 great old school coupe to me these are a modern day GranTurismo without the maintenance costs I'd say test drive one before crossing off your list.

If you want a V8 why not save loads of money and buy an older C63 or E63 with the V8 engine?
I sat in a E53 at mercedes benz world and thought it was amazing, and I drove a C63 at the same place and that really was amazing.

I have an RC F so am probably a bit biased. Customer service has indeed been excellent over the two years, and no faults to report yet...
S63 coupe mentioned above would be a mighty machine but I suspect big bills.
