So i can get a new cupra 300 4Drive DSG estate for £25k (through motorfinity) on a 70 plate.

I currently have a 2019 BMW 120d which is a nice car and i don't need to change (but could do with a little more umph)

I note on AT there are a few on a 69 plate all retailng above £25k but with the new model out I'm concerned the prices with dive.

Do you think i will suffer on depreciation from the £25k or is this a sensible buy?

Not great these were available for £23k or so not long ago. You don't really need the car. It's going to depreciate fairly heavily maybe get trade £15k in 2 years with 20k miles on it. It's new and exciting like all cars are but don't do this to yourself.

Was looking at these just a few days ago. Few older ones on auto trader to give you a view on depreciation. 17 reg are £19k and I am pretty sure I saw one for £18k a few days ago but it seems to have gone.

Factor in the loss on your current car - profit on the new car, then add depreciation on top - its a costly change...
