I am about to make the call to VT a BMW on PCP.

Does anyone know how the last payment works out? If (for example) they collect the car on the 20th but my payment goes out on the 21st will I still be required to make that payment? (I guess what I am really asking is whether payments are in arrears or in advance?)

I am trying to work out the optimum time to schedule the collection (which in itself may well be impossible, as I'm told there is a bit of a backlog...)

Any feedback from recent experience would be great!

I'd ring them up and work out with them when the best time to collect your car is so you don't incur any unnecessary payments

I believe if they collect on the 20th you won't need to pay the 21st and even if it goes out, you will get it back

Once you've told them you want to VT you either pay the amount due (if you're not yet at 50%) or stop payments immediately.

We sent my wife's MINI back and the collection was delayed from March to June. Didn't pay a penny during that time as the VT had already been done.
