hi, i was after some advice. ive seen a japanese panamera, but wasnt sure on the resale value, servicing (seems less of a issue), and any other quirks that may occur. can anyone advise, the cars valued at 38k on webuyanycar, then when i change it to japanese spec its at 20k. is there anything i should be worried about if i do buy it?

It used to be the case that some insurers wouldn't insure grey imports. Don't know if it's still true, although grey import cars are hardly rare these days.

Guess you might find some differences if you need things fixed although I'm sure it will be very similar.

Might not be as rust proof as a UK car.

It certainly is worth less - although maybe not the difference WBAC say.

Is it RHD? Premium cars from Japan are usually LHD so a RHD Japanese Panamera is surprising.

it is a right hand drive, only the navigation not having uk maps is a problem, more so worried about resale, plan to keep it for 2-4 years

Your phone probably has better navigation anyway.

Japan radio frequencies are different - in the old days, jap imports could only get radio 2 and nothing else. Not sure if you'll have that problem too?

If you only plan to keep for a few years, it might be worth leasing a new one.
