Best car for elderly person

Been charged with finding a new small hatch for an elderly relative, thinking about it I should be looking at one with a lot of safety assistance and wanted to know who is the market leader in this field?

I'd go for one with Auto emergency braking.

Fabia Mk3's have it as standard on SE and above.

Yes I think they need full parking assistance and AEB as a minimum!

They have rear park sensors as standard, but fronts are an option so ok if you're ordering a new car.

Rear camera also an option.

And Skoda dealers are mostly friendly, and helpful.

I can't say the same about Audi and VW
