Subaru Legacy 1999 question!

Hello! I have been offered the oppportunity to buy a 1999 Subaru Legacy GLS auto estate from an old man I've known a long time. He bought it from new and it's done 75,000 miles. It looks sound apart from some minor rust on a wheel arch. Has been serviced annually by a Subaru mechanic so to me seems like a good bet....my question to you is what price would you say is fair to offer? Many thanks in advance
