Buying through Synetiq
Discussion
I have only used them as far as buying parts from them, they used to be Motorhog a few years ago, not sure if Synetiq took over Motorhog or it was a rebranding, either way I'm not overly impressed with them, every time I have used them I have received incorrect of wrongly described parts then I have to chase them for refunds after they have been returned.
They may be better if you are buying a full car I assume? I guess they are just the selling platform in that case. I am not in the trade.

I buy cars via Synetiq occasionally, I don’t think you need to be trade (though I am).
It is much like buying from any other salvage auction, take a punt based on a minimal description. Not all cars are accident damaged of course, some are dealer PX etc.
I have never had reason to be unhappy with their service.

Thanks, I've spoken to then and trade registration is not required although I can understand why they aren't shouting that from the roof tops.
I actually like the fact that they don't seem to sell Cat B cars complete - they have to be stripped and the shell crushed. That makes a lot of sense!
