Best website to sell a car?
Discussion
What are your thoughts and recommendations for the best place to sell a car?
Auto trader seems to have got expensive since I last sold a car at £40 for 2 weeks, Ebay is £20 for a 28 day classified ad, my assumption is that these probably have the biggest audiences, but is AT worth twice the price of eBay?
Any others worth considering?

Pistonheads or specific forums/ Facebook groups if it's something slightly out of the ordinary.
I recently used Wizzle and only got one bite from a trader which was a joke of an offer frankly but I did discover We Want Any Car through Wizzle and ended up selling to them for pretty much what I was asking.

Thanks everyone - tried Wizzle (never heard of that) and got the usual low ball offers.
Have put a classified ad on Ebay for 28 days - and typically get a message from a Gumtree ad a couple of hours later with a reasonable offer - whether than actually turns out to be real is another matter, so will leave the eBay ad running until i have the money in my hands

Depends what you’re selling but carandclassic is free and gets a good audience.
Not used it to buy or sell, but have found interesting cars on there. Also 'collecting cars' which appears to be good for anything slightly interesting, from classics, modern classics, but also just semi-rare spec stuff, big petrol manuals, that sort of thing. Dont know if anyone here as bought or sold a car using the site or how it works? Always an amazing collection of photos for each listing.
