Hi,
I'm looking to change my car as I've come to the end of a 4 year PCP. I'm not interested in signing up to a new PCP deal.
So, I'm looking at something in and around the 5k mark. I have never owned a Volvo or Saab and really like both marques. I have driven a V40, XC60 and XC90 many times before (the former being my mothers previous cars and the latter her current one), as well as a 9-3 Aero (again, one of my mum's previous cars).
I'm stepping out of an Insignia (feel free to tell me to keep that - 2016 owned since new SRI NAV 1.4t 43k miles). I'm planning on keeping the car I change to for the next 4 or so years.
I understand the 9-5 of this generation is essentially based on the Insignia platform - but it looks to me a more premium proposition - in terms of styling and interior quality etc. I think the diesel unit in this was slightly revised over the VX unit - apparently becoming more refined.
Has anyone any experience of these? Anything to consider or be aware of?

Similarly, I like the look of the V60 and this 2012 model caught my eye. Again, anyone with any experience of these?
