is an s5 sportback similar to a 640d GC?

Been looking for a 640d with the 'right' options, i've found an audi s5 sportback, nicely specced.

I need to see one in the flesh to see if its as frumpy looking as some pics make it look.

Ignoring that, my gut says the fit and finish will be a class or two below the 6 series?

S5 is more like a 440i not a 640, best comparison would be a A7/S7 from Audi

I have had an S5 and a 640i . The 640 is bigger and better in lots of ways.
