Merc S350d - has this been clocked?

I was looking at this car, but am worried that it may have been clocked (based on the MOT history)

What are peoples thoughts?

As I understand it, any car that was due its first MOT during the corona extension thing had its mileage marked as unreadable. I'm sure someone in the trade will be along shortly to confirm.

I think that the test on 13th June will have been a "clerical test" only then the owner or more likely vendor (to market it) got it done soon after. I wouldnt think it's iffy at all

On the MOT history site ,it clearly shows that the MOT on the 13th was the 6 month extension , so mileage not available to the DVLA when extension given .

But they had a test done anyway 2 days later .

This or a RR
Both have their image issues
I think the black colour on the S doesn’t help with the PCO image
But it seems like a lot of car for the money

I think for the sake of a little extra money, i'd want the new lights that came out in 2018.

edit...also think its a bad time to buy with the 2020 model coming out in december (although this is a rumour and hasn't been confirmed!)

if we want to get into specifics it's probably on the very tail end of 17 (nov or dec?) , the majority of face lifts are on 18 plate onwards, maybe the odd few on a 67.

Definitely worth getting specific, as I’m in the market to buy. Thank you for that, will narrow my searches.

The extras alone would make me buy this car. The Burmester system itself is around £6,000. Very nice car though odd why someone specced up a 350 as I would have thought these extras are more in place inside an S600.

its rare but i have seen a few 350s with this sort of spec, i went to see a S350D L a few weeks back, also on a 2017 that had Burmester with 46k on the clock but was due a major service. It had Pano roof, Heated and cooling seats, 360 cam and soft close aid along with a few other bits. That was up at 30k but the dealer didn't want to knock anything off, not even £500.

I walked 3 weeks later they dropped it to 28k i believe somebody bought it then.

Hence why I'm interested. To be honest, the Burmester comes with the Premium Plus pack. Although I'm confused myself with all the packs available. There's a Grand Edition too, not sure what that is.
If someone has good knowledge of the packs, please can you share?

Are you specifically looking for a LWB model? Are you looking for do buy one for 'pleasure' or chauffer/business? Just interested, I'm looking for a ultra comfortable car with all options.

It’s a one owner car with ‘Ashtray and Cigarette Lighter’ fitted as options.

I’d be concerned about smoke smells and any burn marks.

Don't MB do a major model change every 6 years, with a face lift - call it what you will - every 3 years?

Yes, I think they do. So it was 2014-2017 for the W222. Then 2017-2020 for the W222 Facelift.
The new new model is just about to be launched.
