Velar and F-Pace

Hi all,
My wife currently has a 64 plate Evoque Dynamic which we’ve owned since new. Its done 62k now and has been pretty much faultless over the 6 years of running it.
However, she is often needing a little more space, the Evoque is quite pocket sized, and the only SUV she likes over the Evoque is the Velar or possibly the F-Pace.
This would be a used/nearly new purchase – likely a year old.
Are there any genuine inherent problems with them (I’m not looking for a stay away from LR type thread), what engine is recommended and what are the must have options on these?
At present we have the upgraded extended leather in red/black, pan roof, heated screen & wheel etc – are there any packs we should look out for that would give us the majority of sensible options without having to look for them individually?
How have you found the vehicle to live with?
Alternatively anyone know how it compares with an F-Pace? Guessing a Velar will hold value much better but is an F-Pace as premium? Initial readin suggets the Jag is the better drivers car, the Velar more wafting RR.

The Jag is the slightly better steer depreciation wise they're actually about the same once you factor in how much the Velar will cost to get to the same spec as the F Pace.
