Lexus IS300H and Hybrid Battery concerns?
Discussion
Hello,
A friend is interested in buying an IS300H approx £14-15k
Example: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202007201...
He has concerns around the lifespan of the Hybrid battery and costs to replace. Does anyone have any experience of a car like this when buying?
Thanks in advance.

Very rare for the hybrid battery to fail. If the car has full Lexus history it will have had a hybrid test every time the car is serviced, and they then extend the guarantee on the system and hybrid pack.
Again, if it has full Lexus history it should be possible to get a two year warranty for £995, payable monthly. This can be renewed every 2 years until the vehicle is 10 years old and under 140k miles, thus having a warranty until 12 years old!
In short, buy it, do the above a have no worries.
