Just sold my mk5 golf GTI, it was wonderful however I felt like I needed a change.

I sold my golf Sunday and i am back to work Monday 2nd November so need to find a car this week.

I commute mostly from croydon into London 3-4 times a week with the 1 or 2 times a week doing 500 miles in a day!

I have a small budget of around 3k (the lower the better)

I don't need to worry about mpg to much as I don't pay for fuel
I want something fun
No more then 2 modifications
Some boot space

Something that isn't a pain to drive in stop start traffic

Close to Croydon as possible!
