Hi, currently running an 2002 BMW E46 330ci sport auto which I've used as my daily since 2004. It's just turned over 250k miles; quite a landmark...
I'm also fortunate to have the following:
1. 205 GTI 1.9 (summer use only, owned since 1996.
2. Maserati Granturismo (owned since Jan 2016).
3. Porsche 997 C2S 'Sport Classic reimagined' owned since Nov 2017.
4. BMW E36 318is (owned since Nov 2019).
The quandry is I really only use the E46 day to day still (12k per year), so the other cars sit around for occasional use at the weekends only (Maser 1k/yr & Porsche 1k/yr). 205 GTI & E36 are garage queens.
I'm thinking of selling the E46 to get more use out of the other cars but also always hankered after an M3 CSL.
Do I:
a) Sell cheap/ give away the E46 to a mate who could do with a car then use 2 & 3 above as dailys.
b) Get rid of E46 (as above), buy a CSL then share the daily use amongst 2 & 3 above + CSL.
c) Keep the E46 as it's depreciation proof & has sentimental reasons + use other vehicles more.
I realise I'm in quite a fortunate position financially but what with covid & approaching 50, I have realised life is really short.
What would you petrolheads do?

In an ideal world and assuming you had the space I'd keep them all and just add an M3 CSL to the fleet!
But not many people have that option.
I wouldn't want to be putting 12K miles a year on a CSL (but then I'd buy a CS for the manual gearbox) but can see why you might want something with an S54 engine - which is why I bought a Z4M Coupe last year because I was finally in a position to.
If you have a special connection to your 330Ci I might be inclined to part with the 318is - swap one garage queen for another!
