View a 2010 auto astra in York?
Discussion
Hi
Thought I would ask but it is lockdown.
I am in Cheshire 90 miles from a car I was looking at in York. Due to an elderley relative living with us I can go anywhere really.
If it's OK to do so, is there anyone who could take an expert look at an auto 2010 petrol astra for me. I'll send some wine or beer for your time.
No problem if its not allowed
Thanks

Why an astra...long story..
I want a used car preferably under £2500 but if I have to will add a £1000ish
Its to be shared by me and my daughter&son so wanted a fairly small easy to park car that is cheapish to maintain but looks quite sporty ( 3 doors seemed to look nicer ) and they both liked the look of the twin top and gtc
I did see some merc c180's which they liked too.
As its the 2nd car I'm quite happy to make sure they like it enough to drive it and I thought the auto would be easier for them as they will only drive it when they come home.
We will only do about 4k miles a year so want a petrol
Thanks for asking

I think the simple fact it's a 10 year old automatic astra that's the issue.
A similar age focus would undoubtedly be much better, or even a Kia ceed.
Any particular reason for the astra?
Sorry OP can't help with viewing the car, but in respect to the post above...A similar age focus would undoubtedly be much better, or even a Kia ceed.

I used to have an auto astra estate of this generation. I can't say it was an exciting car, but couldn't fault it in any other way. I don't see any reason why either of the above cars should be better.
