I checked the prices and I can’t even afford one of the knackered old eighties version.

But there’s apparently also a government target of 2050 of banning any ICE vehicle from being on the roads (from a quick glimpse of a big thread on here) so will values plummet?
I doubt any politician in parliament today will be in their job in 2050 and none of the current lot have any clue about the future. They cannot decide upon Christmas yet, let alone how to develop an infrastructure for HS2 and then hospitals or air transportation. Its just words from a group of fools.

Indeed they have taken 10 years and I believe haven't even laid one mile of track towards Birmingham if it gets built it'll have taken over 20 years to build a railway line...one. I think we can take comfort in that as regards the latest "moon shot" announcement from No 10, they can't even buy PPE or get
an app to work efficiently.

^This.The government come out with these things and the press report "the government have released their plan...". It's not a plan. It's a brain fart that's escaped from someone's face hole.

Hear hear. Seems like more of a pending en-masse land grab than anything. If the railway isn't built in full (by some miracle) at least their victims' land can then be repurposed as they see fit after 'purchasing' it. Don't get me started on all the spin / spam online that is drowning out all the negativity about the project either. If I was in the game of speculating on a future desirable cooking 911 it would be a manual 997.2 C2 as it's naturally aspirated, manual, narrow bodied with proper steering. 991 had s
