1 day / temporary car insurance - recommendations
Discussion
Hi guys, in between buying cars so I’ll shortly need to temporarily insure a car (somewhere between 1-28 days). Having just poked around bit on a comparison site, the quotes are coming back for 28 days not too short of what I normally pay for a whole year!
I appreciate that a temp cover is riskier for the insurer but just wondered if anyone has any experience or recommendations of insurers offering competitive rates!
Again I appreciate quotes will differ per driver and depends on the car but a steer would be great.
Cheers

Try Flow Insurance by LV. It is monthly insurance with no tie in. As and when you cancel, they charge pro rata and refund the remaining
Thank you all for the replies. I just tried LV Flow and it’s returning a sensible monthly quote of £31 for a Mini, not the £300 I was previously quoted! That’s more like it! Thanks guyswarsol said:

Glad its helped you out. Currently in between my new car and selling old one, so have continued on Flow - It's not too bad at £37 a month for both me and Mrs. insured!I used pistonheads to find cheaper insurance while I'm selling my car. I found this thread, but the flow insurance no longer seems to be as cheap. They charge a deposit on top of the first monthly payment.
After further research myurbanjungle offer free cancellation no admin fees and no deposit. HTH someone
