Sub £2.5k commuter shed

Hi All,

I am considering opting out of my company car scheme and going the shed route. I will be doing 50 miles per day so want something fairly economical and dependable, along with enough room to throw a bike in the back if needed.

I am currently considering Mk5 Golf diesel, Audi A2, V70 D5 etc.

I have my ‘toys’ and my partner has a new car for longer trips if needed, so I am fairly flexible but all suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for the responses so far.

Out of interest what is wrong with the A2? I haven't seen much negative about them, so its good to get some more opinions/facts.
