Importing a Classic post Brexit

Hello everyone and Happy New motoring year,
I purchased, in December 2020, an originally UK registered 100/4 Healey from Germany.
Now, in January 2021, that I would like to ship the car home, the trucker claims that I need to pay 5% VAT upon importation in the UK.
Does that make any sense to anyone?
I thought the whole Brexit negotiations drama resulted in no tariffs?
Thoughts?
