TVR replacement (but with four seats)

Having sold my Chimaera 500 with no plans to replace it, I’m now finding myself missing the sound of a nice engine....
The reasons I sold the TVR were basically because I now need four seats and really can’t be bothered tinkering and fixing stuff. I’d also like to be able to do the speed limit on a country lane without being bumped around by outdated suspension. And I’ve now not got a garage so don’t want something that doesn’t like being outside.
I’d like to get as close to the excitement of a TVR as possible but with some modern comforts and room for two 5/6 year olds in the back. Convertible is not essential but might be nice to have. I’d say noise is the most important quality I look for.
So far I’m struggling to beat a 2018 Mustang 5.0; it has the noise, the V8, visual interest and now apparently has the handling to get close to European rivals.
What others am I missing?
M4/M5, running costs and not particularly exciting? Fast but not engaging at low speed?
Lotus Evora? Perfect - but the rear seats look a bit tight! Do they survive left outdoors?
911s - not really my thing and same rear seat issue.
I suspect a Mustang would do the job and they seem solid with residuals. Any other suggestions? Up to £35k ish, I suppose.

Good call! Would fit the bill perfectly but I suspect running costs and reliability could be an issue. Will look into it as the noise is epic and the cream leather interiors look stunning. VXR8; can’t believe they’re still that price! Same for Monaros! That must’ve been one of the safest places to put cash over the last ten years! Might have a look at the 6.0 Monaros....
AMGs.....I do like them but they have a bit of an image issue in West Yorkshire! Same goes for Audi RS models.
The Lexus RC-F is an often overlooked car but it fits your brief & they're a special car

A liking for TVR suggests that you like a certain rawness, in which case, US stuff might appeal.

I wouldn’t rule out a 997.2 911S
Brilliant thing, last of the properly analogue Porsches, sounds lovely and can be made to sound even better. Arguably the last proper 911 sports car (GT3 models excepted) before they became more of a grand tourer. Great size to fling around.
Great residuals, and 35k gets you into a very nice one.
Rear seats fine for kids of that age, unless it’s long journeys. Servicing Porsches is never cheap, but at least the 997.2 is a reliable horse.

What about a Cerbera?! 
All joking aside I found my TVR very difficult to replace, but I am really liking the Mustang/Maserati/C63 suggestions. You definitely need an engine with plenty of character after a TVR I reckon. Almost everything will feel heavy in comparison to the TVR though.

Cerbera.....I think I’m done with TVRs. Absolutely love them but the chassis just don’t cope with bumpy roads these days; I could cover ground much faster in my 2.5 tonne Disco 5 than in the Chimaera. And, for now, I don’t want to be tinkering any more, I’ve got a 200 year old house for all my tinkering needs!

I went for a Z4MR after my Cerbera but I missed a V8 engine so I tried a V8 M3 after the Z4...but that didn't work either!
I'm happy with only a 6 cylinder engine now though, but my TVR did really take some getting over for sure.
A V8 Mustang is certainly a car I'd love to try one day for definite.

Maser Grandsport - but fussier and more complex ‘ expensive to run.
