Lease due back one day first MOT due

I'm sure this must come up quite often. My Mrs' car is due back 1 day after its first MOT. If we need to get it MOT's it probably needs to be booked in pretty soon as there is something of a back log.

But, do we have the option of returning the car early instead? Anybody done this?

Pretty sure you’ll need to MOT it. Skoda finance took several weeks to collect my car and it needs to be mot’d for them to collect it.

Arrange collection 2 days before the MOT...that was the advice from BCA when my Cupra went back.

Arrange for collection a week before MOT us due.

I've terminated early to avoid MOT and service - service due in 600 miles us showing, VWFS advised me as long as its not down to 100 miles it's fine.

Thanks all. Trying to get hold of the leasing company to confirm but hopefully we can get it back there a few days early.
