Honda CR-V 2017 onwards

Hi PH, looking for some advice on the Honda CR-V. I’ve listed before and got some good options but have come across these that seem to be mentioned in places but not topping any Best Buy lists.
Does anyone have experience with the VTECs petrol engines in the post -2015 generation?
I like what I see read/view about the space, comfort and safety but worried there are some gotchas, especially since it’s really the diesel that has all the love. I also haven’t had a chance to test and may be looking at a remote purchase.
Bidget is 16-18K, Petrol with spec on the higher end. Thanks for the feedback.
