Hi,

I’m after a ULEZ compliant family motor, I live in London and do a lot of short and medium trips.

Budget is about £10k, hoping to part ex on a low miles ‘14 Seat Leon estate to make up half the budget.

Was looking at an S-Max and Sharan but they’re pretty dull.

Any recommendations are very welcome.

Thanks

How many kids? Dog? Bikes? Do you need the space of an S-Max?

Have you had the Leon valued.? Sometimes the figures someone thinks will add up don't.? What you're saying is you want to put £5K + your car for your next purchase and that might not be £10K.

The S Max is actually a decent steer:

If you don't need an estate then the new Insignia in SRI VX Line Nav 160 spec would be a very good pick:

SRI Nav

If you don't need the 7 seats but want more space then the Mazda6 Estate in Sport Nav spec is a good choice:

Sure, should be around that. Low miles.
Grand difference is fine.

That’s a lot of cash for a 10/11 plate

I agree but that's where TXS S Max's are in terms of price as I said the Insignia's are the pick for what you seem to be looking for.
