Hi all,

Looking at buying the car in the title, it’s done 120k, seems competitively priced, 7G auto model. My question is am I better off getting the AMG version? I’m not overly sure what the difference is spec is between an AMG and the exec premium plus, asides from wheels, steering wheel, tuning etc. Is this model worth significantly less/not desirable? Don’t want to buy something that is going to be a burden when I come to sell it / over pay for it now. Anything I should look out for purchasing privately? It’s got merc history to 89k and independent since then. Asking £5.8k for it. Thoughts? Thanks

When something has done 120k I'd be looking to see if the suspension has been refreshed because that won't be a cheap bill.

Executive was the trim model and Premium Plus was an option pack (Premium was also available). As I recall the pack provided sunroof, sat nav and media player with hard drive.

At that price you’ll struggle to buy an AMG engine let alone the entire car.

No, you’re misinterpreting what I’m saying. Do I go for this one, or do I pay out more for an AMG?

I assume you're referring to the AMG trim spec, not a full fat AMG. The AMG trim line provides lower profile tyres and a sportier/darker interior, I can't remember the other spec differences apart from most AMG trim car had the C250, not the C220.

Amg line is a nice trim, sits above the sport trim
