Hi, brand new to this forum and I know absolutely nothing about cars, so I was wondering if anybody could give me some advice! My current car has died (elderly Suzuki Grand Vitara) and I need a new one, but not sure what I should be looking for. I need something that is decent off-road, hardy, and reasonable in the snow. Ideally 4x4 or with a 4x4 option. But also not too huge, and not massively expensive to run/tax/maintain. Does anyone have any idea of vehicles that might be suitable, that are fairly reliable and won’t cost a huge amount to keep on the road? Any feedback much appreciated!
